Dancing with David Take 2

Okay... she didn't look finished to me. I figured out why... I didn't put enough of myself into the page. Lately I have been creating art that was very much 'on the surface' to what I really wanted to accomplish. I get like that sometimes. In the past I have dug so deep that I didn't think I would ever find my way out of myself, does that make sense? Well, now I am out of myself trying to get back in again! Life is a viscious cycle sometimes. I added shading to a lot of the page and in the middle I wrote out my true desires in regards to how the scripture made me feel.
Let me know what you think!

Hugs and blessings and as always Happy Creating!

That is a great way to finish the page. Even though I cant bring this picture close up I love to see you have added the reasons why you were inspired by this verse, making the page that much more personal. The shading really enhances the whole page as well.
Well Done!!
Lee:)

Kelly,
Tears started welling up as I read what you'd added. That's my heart before Him too. I proclaim Him first with my lips and know it in my heart, but sometimes my actions don't line up. I'll do "urgent" things, over important things (things with eternal value). I've recently been focusing on reversing that.

-Only one life, twill soon be passed. Only what's lived for Christ will last.

Blessings,
Terri

I love it, it looks great, it's amazing what some shading can do :) I love the writing as well - adds a little more something to draw you in and makes it more personal. Also, the trim on the right side is perfect, very nice touch! :)

Shading...what is up with that? Why is it so powerful, that's what I want to know? Nothing says "the end" like shading. I love your page and your other work as well. What I love the most is the choice to journal about how the bible affects you.

She definetly looks finished now. This one touches me deeply too. You know well how much dance is part of my life and I have always loved this passage. It's amazing when I get to that place of dancing with all my might for God's glory. I lose track of everything around me and it becomes simply me and God.

Hi Kelly! I haven't stopped by in a while, so I wanted to come by and say hi. Your work just seems to get better and better. I love this page, the script in the center is perfect, and I love that you wrote "dance like David danced. Wonderful. And the texturing in the last post is gorgeous! I'll have to try it one of these days. I hope you're doing well.

Gorgeous - you were right to follow your heart and imbed your own soul into these piece... soooo inspiring. Oh, and to dance before the Lord as David did, in full abandon, overwhelmed with the Lord's grace and forgiveness... awesome.
And I pray that the desires of your own heart will be answered to the full- to the brim, topped up and overflowing. ;0)
Huge hugs xxx
