Trying For a New Hair Do

So... I have been feeling really mousy lately. I decided to add some color to my hair and I wanted to go for something a little more funky and fun... I wanted to be spontaneous and see what I could get done...
In the end I ended up with the same hairstyle with a little more color and $240 less in my pockets!
I walked into the salon with good intentions, really I did! I thought I did! I wanted a change... an uplift... something that would make me feel great, renewed, refreshed. Man I am such a sap!
Why can't I be brave like I see other women being? They walk in so confident of themselves, sit down in the salon chair and say, "Hack it off sista, it's time for a change!" Nope... for me it's pretty much the same thing every time.
I finally have my hair the length I want it to be... the length my hubbub wants it to be... so how brave can one be when you want to keep the same length? Maybe next time I will dye my hair purple or something? Ya... no.
Happy Creating Everyone!

At least you got some new colour! I haven't yet been brave enough to try that...

I really enjoyed your post about 'other people' and their confidence. I am timid about changing my hair too - although recently it is 'changing' all by itself as in turning gray or as dh insists:
Silver. The funny thing is - I don't hate it - yet.
Maybe someday I'll be brave enough to post it. . .
or color it LOL!
Anyway, I'm glad to discover your blog and btw:
You are lovely - just as you are! Thank you for sharing.

You look so pretty and your hair is absolutely beautiful - no wonder you decided not to make drastic changes. No need to be brave in the hair department...

I can't believe how much a haircut and dye job costs! I cut my own hair and have for over 20 years. I think about dying it but my husband likes the "silver" and I am too lazy to keep it up. If you and your husband like your hair just try some new eye shadow or nail polish for a pick-me-up as it seems that's what you are really looking for. And you can go wild as they both wash off if you don't like them. My granddaughter just painted each nail a different color the other day and now they have some stuff (I know because my granddaughters bought it) that draws on top of the nail polish. Have some fun that way.
