Healing Journal: Prompt 7 - WHAT IT FEELS LIKE WHERE YOU ARE

Healing Journal: Today's Prompt: WHAT IT FEELS LIKE WHERE YOU ARE

As you sit in front of your journal with materials to draw/paint/write in front of you, close your eyes and focus on what's inside of you right now.
What does it look like where you 'mentally/emotionally' are right now? Does it feel dark like a tornado or light like seeing a beautiful waterfall? What are the colors that best describe where you are? What are the textures? How does it make you feel? Do any words come to mind? Is there a song that best describes you right now?
As your mind is opening up to you inside begin to write, or draw or use any medium you are comfortable with or that you feel best describes where you are... and just allow it to flow out of you and onto the paper. It doesn't have to be a painting or a great piece of art, there are no rules. Seriously, there are NO rules or right/wrong answers. The main point is that you can get in touch with the way you feel right now.

As your page progresses think of the colors you are using? How do they represent your mood or state of mind? How does it feel to allow this flood of feelings to come out? Write it down?

Now, when your piece is done it's time for your real PEACE. Go lay down on your favorite place in your house, turn on your favorite music and close your eyes. You might be emotionally spent so allow yourself some "Me" time to digest your feelings.
Pray that what you have gotten out on paper today stays out of your mind and that you will be able to just let it go and give it up to God. Allow those emotions to leave your mind.

Have a blessed day.
If you would like to discuss what came out or your feelings as it was flowing out - drop a comment to me and I can contact you via email or something. I am here to help and to comfort with the comfort that was once given to me by God.

Enjoy your healing for the time will come when you will be able to share your journey with others.
God Bless
