GIVEAWAY! Crocheted Art Charm Necklace

This style of crocheted necklace is called a 'laced bib'.  I just taught myself how to make them last week and I have already made almost 10 of them.  They are very simple to make.  All I did was go to youtube and type in Crocheted Necklace and a lovely tutorial came up on this type.

I added a purple bead to the top for a button and then my art charm from my "Girlie-Girl" art piece to the center.

Now it's all ready to be sold for a lovely girl Christmas present at the upcoming Christmas Craft/Art Fair the end of November.

Now the question remains, and maybe you could help me, what would you charge for this necklace?  They will come packaged in cellophane envelopes with my business logo. Everyone who comments gets a chance to win this necklace.

I will choose from the names of everyone who helps me with giving an opinion of what to charge at the fair for this necklace and will draw a name for a winner this Friday, November 2nd.

Thank you for your help.

Hugs and blessings.

Wow! That is really pretty. I am not good at pricing though. I guess add the price of what your charm normally is, plus cost of yarn plus time put into crocheting.??? :)
Love it, great work!

Very sweet, I love the crochet work. I also looked at your Etsy shop, you have some really beautiful pieces. I especially love the angel.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your story. It gave me chills thinking that your sister saw an angel in her car accident.

I pray for her recovery. Thank you for sharing your inspiring words and paintings.

That is really cool, I will have to share with my friend who actually crochets!! Wow it's hard to place a price on someones work, I figure what my hourly wage is and then double the cost of material including packaging, but then there is the I've made a million of these and they have got to go price!!! Love your work by the way!!! Good luck with your sale!

I think I wouldn't go under 25.00. These days pricing is tricky...you people tp buy, but they just aren't like they use to. So, you don't want to price it to high. I would say 24.50. Hope this helps. I love it by the way and I would buy one for that price :):)

Beautiful necklace! I'm really sorry, but I've never been good at pricing things.

Lovely, Kelly. I'm afraid I don't have much advice for pricing jewelry, but from what I've seen at our shows here, I'm guessing the $25 -$40 range.

So beautiful! As I live in the Philippines, I have no idea about pricing in your part of the world. My suggestion is to go to etsy to find out if someone sells something like it, and you can base your price on that. Patsy from

i think it would depend on the type of craft/art fair... if it is more upper-end products, then 40$ - 50$ seems very appropriate. if most items are in the lower price range, then probably 25$. At any price, these are a bargain - such beautiful pieces that are very unique.

Beautiful! I'm like most of the others in that I'm not good at pricing. Maybe take a look on Etsy at similar necklaces and see what they're priced at and go from there.

Kelly, this is lovely, have you made different colours as well. I always find it hard to set the price, I guess looking on etsy would prob be the best to get an idea, and it depends how long they take you to make. Wishing you well for the craft/art fair, and blessings for the weekend. Amandax
