Yummy Finds and Journal Entries

Have you ever heard of Artisan Tape? Or did you know that Tim Holtz also has decorative tape? Well, I just discovered them and I must say that I LOVE them. They are a fabulous creative way for borders on a journal page, although I am certain there are many more great uses! I saw them on a website and went searching on my own to find the Tim Holtz tape, when I got to the store I also found Artisan Tape by Pink Paisley and fell in LOVE.
I used these tapes on the above journal pages and I have many more ideas coming. I think I also saw decorative tape on Teesha Moore's website as I know that I have seen her use them on her fabulous journal pages. For now, here are a few of my pages that I have used them on ~ Enjoy!
Happy Creating everyone!

If you have a Michael's store near you they also have some decorative tape in the $1 section - not a huge selection, but still....

I love all these pages. Particularly the hand. What fun doodling!

Love the tape, Kelly! I'm recalling some 7 Gypsies 'bindery tape' I purchased last year, and need to break it out for journaling. Thanks for the great tip. Your pages are awesome.

I have heard of it but have never bought it... What a great use of the tape! I ordered this book yesterday and thought you might be interested. It uses photoshop as an art journaling tool. Look it up on Amazon. It's called Digital Expressions by Susan Tuttle.

Great use of the tape!

I just started using some this week. Ordered some online from www.happytape.com.

Also, found som TH tape at Archivers. They also sell something called 'doily' tape - but it's harder to use...

There are also some tapes by 7Gypsies that Archivers sells. But 7gypsise tape has a liner...

I like the sheerness of the TH tapes - but they are not sticking very well to my art journal pages, that are slick from a lot of gloss medium. Maybe the TH tapes will stick better for me if I just use them on plain paper...

Hope to see more of your tape uses.

Peace,
Mary Lou 'LuLu'
