Waking The Dead That They May Live

This is what I accomplished at work last week! It has been dreadfully slow for awhile now but we still manage to pull in some Kitchen Cabinetry business... not enough to keep me busy at work but enough to stay in business!

I had three faces in my mind - one representing the walking dead, one representing coming to life, and one representing actually living. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed working with the grey tones ~ I never use grey.

I hope and pray you are all having a wonderful start to your new week and that you are all warm (if you are in a snowy climate like myself)!

We had a fabulous weekend with my boys gone off to Youth camp and my hubby and I left staring at one another saying, "Okay, now what do we do?" LOL.

Hugs and blessings, and as always... Happy Creating!

I've never worked with the grey tones either but it looks like you have mastered them. I really like this threesome!

I love this spread, Kelly! Like you, I never use gray and you've used it quite effectively here. Wonderful and thought provoking! Hugs, dear friend.

Oh, Kelly, I do love this. Very meaningful. We made it to Palo Alto yesterday and Jud will have an endoscopy this afternoon. My fiber is flared up so I am not going to go to the hospital until he is almost done with the procedures. We have had a wonderful day being together. There are so many blessings along the way here. We will have a couple of weeks before he has to start radiation so we will be able to fly to Mesa to see his family and go visit friends up in northern California. Thank heavens for the break! He is feeling the side effects of chemo fade away and I imagine he will be feeling good for this time. So I am soooo grateful for that!

Thank you for being such a real person and caring friend. When I found your blog, I just knewnyou were a person I would connect with!

Big hugs,
Suz

Howdy Kelly,

Spectacular! The detail in this piece is exquisite. My favorite is all the flowers in the live girls hair. I'm so glad I clicked on this one. Most impressive!

Peace,
LuLu

Kelly, this is a great page. I have never worked in greys either. I might have a go after seeing this. I love the transition and the meaning that goes with it.
It is funny when your kids start being out of the house more as they get older and you and your husband have to entertain yourselves.
