As I was Art Blog Hopping....

It is so much fun blog hopping around the list of Artists! For example:

I came across Peggy's blog and I am loving it! The above painting is one of her latest. Isn't it beautiful! (I hope you don't mind that I put it up on my blog ~ I love it and I wanted to show the world what I found on your blog).

So let's go blog hopping and see what else we can find. I may post more lovely things I find if I get a chance.

Happy Creating, Happy Blog Hopping!

Hi Kelly, thank you for your visit via the 'Blog Hop' I have enjoyed looking through your pages too...

You asked me about writing over the top of PanPastel pages. I find most pens will write just fine, although I did have one white pen which didn't seem to like it much (I think it was an Edding paint marker). I mainly use Faber Castel Pitt pens for writing, and I find these will write over pretty much everything! The following white pens have also not been a problem - Sakura Souffle, Posca paint marker and Zig calligraphy pens. You said the pages looked smooth, not only that they FEEL so smooth - wonderful.

Thanks for this information Gill. I am looking forward to working with more pan pastels and I have heard of those Souffle pens and am intrigued. I will have to look for the Posca Paint markers too! Thanks for getting back to me.

Hi, Kelly! Thank you putting this Blog Hop together...and for your recent visit to "my porch/blog!" This is SOOO much fun, visiting all of these terrific artists, and finding new friends. I am including the script/link on my blog right after posting this, so others may join in his awesome "trip" through blogland. You are so thoughtful, ;). Wishing you a blissful weekend, filled with much love and creativity!

PS: hoping you and your niece will enjoy playing art together this summer! My nieces and I had a blast yesterday, and they have both found a new love in art journaling...and I'm sooo happy, ;).
